A tiger and bunny note

The most important thing to me about the T&B character songs is, ironically, not the lyrics or songs themselves (though I was amused by them, and found them to be very in character in a charming way), but the fact that Kotetsu can sing.

I had been avoiding touching on the possibility that he might be decent at singing because it's such a thing that's likely to turn out false (like Kotetsu being good at cooking).

Now it's canon in my head that Kotetsu has always been really good at singing; I have no idea where he picked it up from, but between Tomoe specifically being upset with him for missing choral practice and Barnaby's specific complaint with Kotetsu's character song ("the singing was lackluster, you weren't trying hard enough"), I'm convinced that he's actually extremely naturally talented and people wish he would get serious about singing. But since he was always excited about being a Hero and has let that define who he is so totally, he never did it as anything but a hobby.

The exciting thing? This gives me a breakthrough for the fic I need to do as my part of the fan exchange on the TIGER-AND-BUNNY community at LJ. Thank goodness! I was pulling my hair out over the prompt I got, not sure how to execute it.
